The SteamPlant loves hosting out-of-town couples and their families and showing them all the magic Salida’s got to offer, but we have to admit that we’ve got a place in our hearts for locals who choose us to say “I Do”!
Ivy and Chas are one of those special couples. Originally from Iowa, they’ve made the Arkansas Valley their home and are such a sweet part of our community here.
They chose to have a very intimate, relaxed early evening wedding (on a Tuesday!) for close family and friends. The details of their wedding are lovely – we especially adore the grey-green bohemian florals from He Loves Me Flowers (her flower crown, amirite?!). We loved that Ivy and Chas gave away succulents as favors and we’re still hungry for the a delicious-looking hors d’oeuvre buffet from Michelle Gapp at Kalamatapit Catering!
