“Salida was the first place we went camping together, and the place we always returned to every summer to camp and mountain bike. Plus, the collegiate peaks are stunning, and we wanted our guests to experience a part of Colorado that not many tourists see.
We wanted to keep it simple yet unique and focus more on creating a weekend of memories and experiences. We tried to marry vintage with rustic. We chose floral arrangements that were filled with different shades of greens and lots of texture to evoke a more earthy feel. We kept coming back to the motto of keep it simple and make the experience as fun as possible.”
At the SteamPlant Event Center, nestled between two mountain ranges, right on the banks of the Arkansas River.
